Major Fundraisers
Auction
Co-chairs plan an auction-style party in February for school parents and faculty to raise funds for PSA. Two to four chairs are needed for a one year term, August-April. There are many subcommittees needed including live auction, procurement, class projects, teacher outings and more. An assistant to the treasurer is also needed to help input donations and ticket purchases.
Raffle
A detail, accounting oriented chairperson is needed each year to plan and execute fundraising through student sales of raffle tickets in the fall. The chairperson must also secure prizes for both the raffle winners and to reward student volunteers. In total, this position requires approximately 75-100 hours of work.
Targeted Fundraiser
Each spring a chairperson is needed to oversee the development of a fundraiser aimed at keeping SIJ technology current.
