Classroom Assistance Programs
Art Awareness
Each quarter, volunteer parents present artists and
their work to each classroom and then supervise
an art project. Six volunteer parents are needed per
grade. It is preferred that this role not be combined
with room mother. Contact program originator

Playground Duty
Chair facilitates parent volunteer sign up at uniform pick-up and on room mom sign-up night. Volunteers are needed daily M-F, from 11:20-1:00, to monitor playground activity during recess.
Room Mom Chair
This chair, a one-year term, assigns room mom volunteers to each classroom. This position is offered first to previous auction chairs.
Room Mom
Room Moms, a year-long commitment, assist teachers
in organizing parent volunteers for special class events
and field trips. Due to the popularity of these limited
number of positions (two per class), and to give
everyone who is interested a fair opportunity,
volunteers who have yet to serve as a room mom will
get top priority (limit is one rookie room mom per
Kindergarten class).
