INTERNET SAFETY PROGRAM OFFERED FOR PARENTS -

THURSDAY, MARCH 11th at 7:00 pm

How can parents help children and teens be safe online?

The program is open to all parents and caregivers from private and public schools in the area.

Presented by the Media Resource Center Directors of District 181, the program on  Internet Safety Awareness will feature Sarah Migas, Internet Safety Specialist with the Office of the Illinois Attorney General’s High Tech Crimes Bureau. Ms. Migas will address:

* Posting information online

* The permanence of online communication

* Privacy

* Online identity

* Cyber bullying

This presentation is designed to help parents teach their children and teens to be wise users of the Internet.
