Parent Student Online Handbook:
Athletics

Healthy athletic competition and high moral standards
complement each other. Positive teamwork and true
Christian sportsmanship go hand-in-glove. From
our experience as educators we know that participation
in athletics will provide students powerful personal
learning opportunities found in few other venues of
academics or life.

This is why we encourage our students to join in Saint
Isaac Jogues various athletic programs ... and have
some fun.

We are a member of the Suburban Parochial League
West. Beginning in fifth grade we offer interscholastic
competition in boys and girls basketball, cross country
and track and field, and girls volleyball. Football (for
boys) begins in fifth grade. Eighth-grade girls may
participate in cheerleading.

As in all aspects of life at Saint Isaac Jogues, we
expect our student-athletes to represent their school
with exemplary behavior.

More details about our athletic programs – including
required physicals, team selection policies, code of
conduct for athletes (and parents) – are provided in the
printed Parent-Student Handbook.
