For grades 6 through 8
Saint Isaac Jogues’ Student Council is where
teamwork, planning and leadership skills shine.
Throughout the year this enthusiastic group stages
special events, organizes and manages fund-raising
drives and represents the interests of our students.
Two faculty members serve as advisors.
All students in grades 6-8 are active voting members
of the Student Council. For sixth and seventh grades,
the homeroom representatives are elected each
September. Eighth-grade board members are
determined at the end of seventh grade.
Our Student Council is a member of the Illinois
Association of Junior High School Student Councils,
which offers guidance and leadership workshops.
