Through early intervention and tireless individual
support our Learning Resources program helps students
who are struggling with their academic workload
or the demands of math and reading. This program
includes members of the Saint Isaac Jogues faculty,
a speech pathologist and school counselor – all focused
on providing children the specific help they need
to succeed in the classroom.
In kindergarten through second grade, students
are tested regularly to identify and assess any special
needs. The emphasis is on early screening and skilled
intervention, particularly for reading skills and math.
For students who need assistance in later grades,
Learning Resource teachers write tailored plans with
clear, achievable goals.
