An opportunity for parents of young children to gather in friendship, prayer and support.  We discuss important issues of Christian parenting and how our faith can guide and enhance our parenting skills.  You will meet new friends and renew old friendships that will last a lifetime.

October 4 –  EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE --  Michael Maniacci, Psy.D.

This workshop will explore this popular concept...what it is and why it is important in child development.

 Dr. Maniacci is a clinical psychologist in Naperville and Chicago.  He is a published author who has had two of his books recently translated in German and Japanese.  He is a former professor.

March 4 – HOW TO RAISE CHRISTIAN CHILDREN IN AN UNCHRISTIAN SOCIETY -- Kathleen Littleton

Married for 23 years to Jim and parent to 19 children, 14 living on earth and 5 living in heaven, Kathleen will share her hierarchy of values for raising children in our society.  She is an attorney by profession and holds an undergraduate degree in secondary education.  She put her career aside when her first child was born to raise her family.  Her book, Better by the Dozen, Plus Two, which she co-authored with her husband, was just released.
