MEN'S  GROUP
Third Thursday of the month
6:30 pm, Parish Center
 “Rediscovering Catholicism”

Does being Catholic make a difference in our daily lives?  Other than on Sunday, do we identify ourselves – and can others identify us – as Catholic?  Many of us separate our faith lives from our everyday lives, with the result that Christianity no longer is our lifestyle, as it was for the first Christians. Caught up in the increasing demands of our daily lives and the pervasiveness of our modern materialistic culture, we can lose sight of what it means to be Catholic.

This year The Men’s Group will take time to look at these challenges to Catholicism and to consider what our goals should be as Catholics, what it means to identify ourselves as Catholics, and what Catholics over the centuries have done to achieve those goals and to find their personal identities as Catholics.

Men's Group programs are open to all men of the parish in order to encourage fellowship, spirituality and service opportunities with small discussion groups, social gatherings, and monthly meetings featuring interesting speakers.  Meetings will be held in the Parish Center on the third Thursday of each month.  Each meeting will begin at 6:30 pm-Social, 7:00 pm-Dinner, and 7:45 pm-Guest Speaker.  Dates are as follows.  Read the bulletin for more details.
